My city has been expanding and most of my industries are overproducing. However, they are insufficient to support a further growth of population.

My tobacco production is unable to expand as both of my fertile islands, Delirium, Tabakplantage (and Rhenus, but since my capital is located there it's out of question and space anyway) are already filled to the brim with plantations.

Likewise, my vineyards cover the other half of Delirium and more of Rhenus than would be desirable, as they hinder future expansions of the city.

Which goes along with my food production already no longer confined to my capital's outer shores; Zeeland too is completely buried under wheat and mills by now.

Neu-Elbasani's capacities when it comes to hosting cotton and wool industries have reached their limits as well.

The only good whose future is secure are cocoa and spices. While Abendsonne is completely engulfed in the smoke of cigars, I own a small and as of yet unnamed virgin island next to it whose soil to allows for the cultivation of the drug. As well as spices, but Neuketherbrühl still offers a vast space for the erection of more farms growing these.

There are about two more islands uncolonised, however both are immensely far way and I do not even know what can be grown there. On the other hand, the red player's main island is very sizeable, its soil allows the plantation of wine, and its vast flat land would just as well serve as a lovely stage for the play of the windmills' wings in the breeze brushing the sea. Plus, his second island just so happens to be able to grow tobacco!

As a frail excuse for the vile plans which you should by now have noticed are crawling forth from the depths of my warmongering mind, his fleet is the second strongest after mine and with worry I have witnessed its growth. To ensure my continued safety (read: hegemony), and considering my shortage of land, I think it would be time to wage a war against my scarlet neighbour!

Originally I had planned to record videos of the upcoming battles, but seeing how all the screen recorders I tried failed me without exception, another update of mere text and still images will have to serve. The next post will be a violent one! (Insert suppressed insane cackle here.)
